There is something about the sound of the tyres on the walkway. And the waves breaking not too far away. And I watch the sea curl and swirl. And I feel the wind in my face. I like biking. It clears my head and I think about everything and nothing and it's bliss. Absolute bliss. Sometimes it's sunny and there are lots of people on the walkway, other times it's cloudy or rainy and there's less people. But there is always people and it's nice, we smile to each other, knowing they're seeing the sea and hearing the sound of waves breaking. And so am I.
On parts of the walkway I'm by myself, just me and my bike and the sea. And I watch it, and it watches me. I say thank you to the sea for just being there, and it waves to me. It's nice just watching.
Such rhythm as the sea flows.
Such chaos as the wind blows.
And I'm chasing the sea as I bike along, sometimes I catch up to it, sometimes I don't. I keep spinning my legs and I see a few people again. "Hi", I smile. And they return with a smile.
I like biking and the things I see, and the places my legs can take me.
