Thanks Roald Dahl!

We have Roald Dahl to thank for so many wonderful books and adventures. But these few words from The Minpins have always stuck out to me.

I want to show people the magic in our world, the magic in the everyday and the magic of people. I write to help people to look at the world from another angle, from upside down in a handstand, sideways, roundabout.

Have a look for the magic. The smile on someone’s face. The sound of the dawn chorus. The dragonfly skimming the surface. A tear rolling down a cheek. A tear of sadness. A tear of laughter. And that strange feeling of nostalgia listening to a certain song. The bliss of just you and the sea stretching out forever.
