Wind Wand wondering

There’s lots of people on the walkway, just sitting on seats watching the sea. Some have blankets because there’s a cold breeze. But the water is still. Just swishing around rocks. I’m on a bench too. Another person watching the sea. And sometimes that makes me feel big. Just me and the sea and the sun sometimes, when it comes out from behind the clouds. And sometimes I feel small because the horizon never stops. And I can’t catch it.

There’s lots of people walking too. Just thinking and looking and listening. About I don’t know what. But it’s nice.

The bench seat is wood, and the strip of the walkway the seat is on is wood too. And there’s some rocks that kids and adults (big kids at heart because people never really grow up. It’s nice) are jumping across.

The Wind Wand sways with the wind and smiles when it’s photo is being taken. And with the sway of the wind floats the seagulls, quiet and pondering. There’s a companionable murmur, then silence floating up and gliding down. It’s nice. The sea smiles too. And worries wash away. It’s lovely.
